hi people, i forgotten to blog last night because i was too engrossed playing isketch. yup... heh got a lot of things to share so yup, read on. this blog will be a blog of testimonies today. praise god.
first testimony: yesterday at my dad's stall, around 930am, one stall of fish wasn't sold out yet ( because my dad has got 2 stalls and usually by 930 one stall will be sold out and the other stall will left about 3/4 of fishes ) then it's like i didn't see any regulars then it's like going to be 10am liao and i was like," oh no, dad's gonna lose some money today and let the fish go to waste." then i just turned my head and said a silent and short prayer," god, i pray that someone will buy a lot of fish. amen." then within seconds, a phone call came, my dad said," got, got fish...okok bye." then he just took the some of the huge red plastic bags and start to stuff almost the whole one stall of fish and also some of the fish from the second stall into the bags. then i'm like?!!! so fast??!!! god really answered my prayer so fast man... was kinda shocked, even my sister came to me and said," the amount of people eating fish is sometimes very scary one..." yups, i agree but ultimately, i thank god for that amen!
second testimony: a girl wanted to commit suicide, she didn't want to go to church for one week, the next week she went, she was late for 1/2 hr and the moment she was getting herself settled down, the pastor said," there's someone who didn't turn up for service and was late today and you wanted to commit suicide. god wants me to tell you that he loves you... etc... ( i forgotten ) wow, when i heard it i was like saying to this girl, " you see you see~ this time you better take it man, he spoke to you straight in the face." yups, and i was smiling at the girl cos i was so happy that she finally understood that no matter what, god will not leave her in lurch.
third testimony: ok people, i think as you read my blog you'll see that i don't really mention my mum right? yup, it's because she passed away on feb 4 2003. remember the quiz i took recently? i said," once was all i need to realise how important she was." yup, all the time the shes i mention is actually my mum. and yes, i'm fine :) , i was sad yes, but in the other way i was rejoicing ( pls read on ), cos she died of cancer which was slowly destroying her for the past few months from july 2002 until her death which was like half a year of battling. ok lets start: she suffered from uterus cancer from june 2001. she went for an op, went for different kinds of treatments. then she was ok. then she had a relapse during 2002 july. the cancer had spread from her uterus - stomach - back - lungs - bone - brain. its just went on and on. because i accepted christ on 2002 jan. i was very hopeful that no matter what she'll be healed. but dec, her health was deterioting. she couldn't walk much because of her back was aching very badly, she couldn't stand straight. then because my bro in law decided to wed my sister in jan, because we all knew that my mum's time was getting nearer and his mum was also suffering from cancer so as to let them attend the wedding yup... then just immmediately after my sister's wedding on jan 20, she kinda went into a different situation. she couldn't recognise us, i was so heartbroken because she was like the superwoman, always driving me here and there, buying groceries, cooking, shopping, everything she's always in change, at the same time, my dad was really heartbroken too, his wife of 28 yrs, just kinda slowly fade before him bit by bit... we hired a private nurse because we really didn't know what to do, she was constantly in and out of the hospital and during this time, i kept going to my old church only to pray, i didn't really have faith in god saying she'll be heal no matter what, simply because i couldn't see god's plan in a bigger picture way. i was initially angry with god, why me, how come now. how come she must suffer like that. then i realise he made such things happened like this for his reasons. and if we understand what he 's thinking then he wouldn't be god right? yups, then as chinese new year was drawing nearer, my mum kinda remembered that new year was approaching and she wanted very badly to go to chinatown to buy the new year stuff... like what she'll ususally do. then its like during the two weeks before her death it was so intense, we all lost weight, didn't sleep much, my dad was the one i was worried about too and it's like i seek comfort in god. i began to see his point. i prayed that no matter what he'll let her live pass her birthday which falls on feb 2. which she did amen! she somehow will ans our questions with her eyes, winking or frowning if she didn't like it. through this, my sisters and i kinda co-operate as in became stronger. i was amazed at myself for being the strongest - i'm not trying to sound proud or anything - just that i became a comforter which i thought i couldn't be because i was always a hum bao, constantly needing people to console me. because she was contantly in and out of the hospital, the doctor said to us, why not you all just bring her home, not point staying in the hospital and paying the fees ( he meant well ) so we brought her back, my second sister ( fiona ) broke down, she was struggling and yvonne ( 1st sister ) was in the ambulance with my mum and she talked to her, saying ," do you know that you have cancer? ( because all the while we all didn't want her to know and she was like winking and she accepted the fact ) then because it was during chinese new year's you know the day where they have the reunion dinner my relatives all came and helped us. thank god for them too. my cousin and his gf, uncle albert and his friends came to pray for her, because i had some catholic and pagan relatives they were like what the...? and we just continued praying, she accepted christ!!! amen!!! then it's like the next day ( the 4 days in feb seemed so long ) she passed away but before she left she said," ye su ( jesus ) ni hao and she said qi dao ( pray ) and my dad said to her because she was like going off liao but still hanging on there - get what i'm trying to say? my dad said," just go, i will take care of our three daughters and i love you always ( wo hui yong yuan ai ni de )," she teared but her eyes was already closed liao. in the morning, she went off around 10 in the morning. because of her death i rejoice. not in a mean way but yes she accepted christ and she was saved.
people out there reading my blog i'm not very clear with my details but feel free to ask me. i'll be more than glad to ans them. and i just wanna say, treat your parents well. they meant well for you. pls no matter what don't argue with them instead pray for them. and always find time for them too. with all the children all grown up sometimes they seek our attention too. and to people out there being discourage about your parents not accepting christ, fret not, god has his ways and timing.
