when was the first time you did something for the first time?

memories are def here to stay =)

i remember my mum buying a keroppi bag from people's park OG when i was 7 years old. i have that bag still =) i recall my dad smiling cheekily while posing with the wax figures of our senior minister (he stroked his head!) and dalai lama at madame tussauds (london). that skin tingling warm sunlight that kissed my face while bon and i strolled in hyde park. and na bringing me to her hairdresser where i had my first ever cropped mop (trying to follow g paltrow's sliding doors character).

the first time i answer back at my parents, the first time i ran away, the uncountable times i failed maths hahaha~ the memorable first time when i sneaked into my parent's room and steal some cash... my first pet dog,"bingo" and my first pet parakeet,"polo". and of cos, my first brush with my pets' death was unbearable. my first pay cheque after waiting on the tables, my mum smiling when i passed her a sum taken from my pay and my first pair of levis using my own money.

i remembered my first taste of alcohol in sec 2, my first entry into the club scene at 14 while trying to fool spark's bouncers just because of the height advantage (i got in lor~). plucked my brows for the first time at ang mo kio and of cos, my first crush, first kiss and first breakup.

my first ever attending polydi ss sitting beside mandy, jaslin, jasmine, shufen and joshuarine. my first shepherding with livi at OA bakery. my first time jumping to the praise, this is how we overcome. my first easter cg at citylink (we made eggshell musicians ^^). the very first time i broke out in tongues, my water baptism. the first and last time i ever touch the guitar. the first time i led games, holy comm, praise and worship and announcement. my first time changing of shepherd, my first farewell (i cried!), first time outreaching, sharing and my first sheep! first time teaching, and first time seeing my sheep backslided *heartache*. my sheep pen grew. my first time leading a cg and teaching sermon (1hr 30mins!) first time acting and directing, taking care of a ministry, then cried buckets when i had to email to ask for the dismissal of image. then stepping down, being a norm member again, all these, such strong memories =)

i too remember the people whom i had developed a strong friendship with over the years =) you are all very important to me you know.

about 2 more weeks and i'll be attending my first sunday service =)
