the furry one
browsing through the countless different dog food labels and being indecisive, i just couldn't put a finger on a particular brand for os. i used to buy solid gold's products because it's rated A grade by pet shops but somehow i decided to switch brands instead. despite ceasar's on going ad on tv, i'll keep that brand by an arm's length, reason being, it's too giam and cause shedding. dont ask how i know, the pet shop people say so, so i believe them lo. maybe they do test try the food themselves. anyway, i asked the shop assistant for help.
g: hi, can you recommend me some good brands? no chix pls cos my dog's allergic to them.
sa: ok.
g: o, i'd prefer organic food. is solid gold organic?
sa: nope it's not. how about addictions? it's organic and made from a hyoallergenic formula.
g: really? do they taste good?
sa: ya they're quite good.
whahahaha i cant believe i asked such a qns. in the end i bought the possum and veggie flavour. i think i'll try apples and wild kangeroo next. interesting combo of flavours... never near possum can be eaten.

i absolutely detest lizards. and this will not be my last time blogging about my encounters towards this repulsive creature. i call it the 1230am hat trick.
1st: 1230am. oscar ate its torso and left the rest of its carcass on the floor. i just couldnt bring myself to sweep it. i cannot do it. I REALLY CANNOT DO IT. so i waited till dawn break and asked my pop to pick it up. by that time, it turned black with some ants around it and my legs began to turn soft... eeewww...
2nd: before pop goes to work at 2am, he would eat loti. thus i would prep loti for him. so at 1230am, i took the loti from the plastic bag. but the bag suddenly rustle. and without thinking, i screamed a silent scream at 1230am. immediately, i jumped 1.5 m away from the table, squat and peered at the bottom of the bag. i saw the silhouette of that thing la! and lagi best, i saw the shadow of its eyeeeeeeeeee!!!!! the best part is, i had a sudden urge to pee. but the kitchen table is directly opp my service toilet... this time i analysed the whole scenario. should i jump into the toilet or should i just control it. reason behind analysing is, i can imagine the lizard flying out of the plastic bag and sticking itself on my face. so for the next few mins, i kept hesitating while trying hard to control my bladder. in the end i decided that i wouldnt want any kidney stones so i decided to jump into the toilet. thank God the lizard remained still.
3rd: i like my kitchen cleaned and dry. usually after cleaning i would wipe dry the areas around the sink and the dish drainer. same procedure for last night. at 1230am, i lifted the dish drainer and touched something!!! i let out an "AH!" and ran into the living room. after heart palpitations and cursing that thing later, i decided to finish what i've left behind. taking oscar's bowl, i took his sponge to clean it. i lifted the sponge and i saw that thing again! it was fat, creamed coloured and it's tail curling around its "bui" body, seemingly trying to fit under the sponge. and those eyes! those eyes!!! omg. this time i screamed. just like drew barrymore in scream.
