though the rain might confine me to my house this morning but it doesnt dampen my spirit at all. i stood at my living room windows and looked outside. i saw raffles place's buildings, i saw toa payoh stadium and if i squint a little more, i'm sure i can see the singtel building in somerset. and when the rain started to become heavier, i couldnt even see the opp block. but when the rain was cleared... i saw clear skies... the silver lining behind the dark cloud, the rainbow that comes out after the storm... both telling me that if i perservere just a little more, just a little while more... im sure i'll be greatly comforted...
there are so many things that i want to try on. i want to learn drums like neil peart, i want to try hiphop dancing, i want to work for some big fashion house as one of the main merchandiser, i want to open a cafe, i want to save abused animals, i want to help the old and mentally challenged, i want to have a happy marriage and have a couple of judes and germaines of my own. even if those wanting thoughts might be fulfilled in the future but what about now? i had a chat over msn with a friend... told me about sympathy, burden and love for people... and this thing called waiting... why do we wait for certain circumstances/people? it's because we see the worth of that particular issue thats why we we dont mind waiting or is it because we cant do much but wait? im fine =) God's plan is the best no matter what.
the friend told me this:
everybody deserves help, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
but i think:
it makes a difference to that particular person you've helped. whether emotionally, physically, spiritually. but it must comes from the heart. not out of duty.
it's been a cold week. perhaps i should have claypot noodles tmr... karen? are you with me?
